Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) is a USA based Organization with public health programs around the World. It creates a future of hope for children and families worldwide by eradicating pediatric HIV and AIDS, providing care and treatment for people with HIV and AIDS, and accelerating the discovery of new treatments for other serious and life- threatening pediatric illnesses. EGPAF`s work is funded through private donations, PEPFAR via the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Centres for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), Johnson & Johnson (J&J), Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) etc.

POSITION TITLE: Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

The Senior Accounting Manager will oversee all financial operations and ensure compliance with EGPAF’s financial policies and procedures. The role is pivotal in maintaining accurate financial records, managing budgets, and supporting program activities. You will lead the implementation of the Country Office Financial Accounting Management policy, and provide guidance to the accounting team to ensure adherence to the policy

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Chartered Accountant
• Master’s in Business Administration or a related field will be an added advantage

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management roles.
• Strong background with USG Rules and Regulations and donor funded environment
• Previous experience in a senior-level accounting position, preferably in the nonprofit sector or international development organization.
• Proven track record of successful financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
• Experience in Accounting Systems such QuickBooks, etc
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Advanced Excel
