Alliance Insurance Co. Ltd was formed in 1993, by a group of predominantly local businessmen with a vision of creating an extraordinary company to bridge the insurance gap in Lesotho. They acquired an insurance license to be one of the only two Short-Term insurers in the country at that time.

The Company is structured to promote focus on excellent service to its clients. It is also committed to creating and unlocking wealth for policyholders, investors and shareholders. We are structured into three business units, Corporate Services, Short Term and Life divisions. Alliance insurance has become a major financial services pioneer providing innovative risk and wealth solutions in Lesotho.

The company’s Operational Head Office in Maseru with regional offices across the entire country. Alliance has grown from strength to strength over the years, increasing its staff complement from 5 in 1993 to over 80 employees and over 130 Sales Agents to date.
