Job vacancy Civil Estimator

Hire Resolve’s client is currently seeking a highly skilled Civil Estimator for a project in Lesotho. As a Civil Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of civil construction projects and providing competitive bids.

Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates
• Perform quantity take-offs and gather necessary information for estimating
• Utilize estimating software and tools to calculate costs
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing information
• Prepare detailed bid proposals and present them to clients or management
• Track and update cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor and analyze project costs and compare them to estimated costs
• Provide support to the project team as needed
  
  

Requirements

• National Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Estimator
• Must have prior SANRAL experience
• Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, materials, and methods
• Proficiency in CCS
• Flexibility to work on-site in Lesotho
