What you’ll do


The Specialist Privacy & GDPR: shall assist management to discharge their responsibility to comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements on privacy and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) through the provision of compliance risk management services. 
Key Deliverables
Supports product owners in their ultimate accountability for privacy within products or services.
Integrates privacy requirements into the requirements management system within the product and supports the definition of solutions to meet the requirements.
Facilitates Privacy by Design and assurance and PIA for high-risk processing activities e.g. by providing the product related information (e.g. wireframes, plans, data flow mapping) and supports the identification of privacy risks and their mitigations through proactive and reactive privacy activities and otherwise within the area of responsibility.
Maintains and develops privacy skills and competences e.g. through professional certification and by participating in the trainings organized by the privacy team.
Supports and conducts Issue Response Management and complaint handling for privacy issues, deviations and non-compliance within area of responsibility in accordance with Vodacom’s policies
Competencies
Detailed knowledge of money laundering techniques, legislation and regulations.
Demonstrable numerical skills.
Knowledge of techniques to identify indicators of terrorist funding.
Knowledge of telecommunication is advantageous but not essential.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Qualifications &Experience
BSC in Computer Science or related qualification
2 years experience in the relevant field
