TCL is a duly registered company, currently operating at Liqhobong Mining Development Company (LMDC).

The scope of work is but not limited to detailed design and construction of taillings conveyor and residue storage facility for the existing mining and process operations. Collection of water and management of such, drilling, blasting, load and haul services at Liqhobong Mine.

TCL is searching for experienced, enthusiastic, result oriented and resilient Lesotho citizen to occupy the following position:

POSITION: Assistant Project Manager Tailings (1)

JOB DESCRIPTION/SUMMARY OF PURPOSE

• To manage tailings disposal and residue storage facility according to GISTM principles.
• To oversee day to day operational management of tailings conveyor, residue storage facility, return water dams and de-watering.
• Responsible for construction and maintenance of storm water trenches.
• To provide effective leadership to employees and ensure that the company is projected through excellent client relationship, quality of service, product and productivity.
• Overall responsibility to ensure that all safety standards are adhered to during the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 15 years of experience in a similar field which 10 should be at managerial role and inclusive of earth moving equipment management.
• Computer literacy (Ms word, excel).
• Proven experience in a mining industry.
• Must possess valid light vehicle license
