The Lesotho Network of People Living with HIV and AIDS (LENEPWHA) is an umbrella body of Community based organisations of People living with HIV in Lesotho.

LENEPWHA’s focus areas are HIV prevention, advocacy and impact mitigation targeting People living with HIV both as beneficiaries and service providers to peers in need of HIV related services.

POSITION: COMMUNICATIONS INTERN

Key Responsibilities

As a Communications Intern, you will work closely with our Communications and IT team to support various aspects of internal and external communications. Your responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Assist in the development and execution of communication strategies.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure timely delivery of communications projects.
• Monitor media coverage and creating reports on relevant industry trends.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather information for communications initiatives.
• Create content, such as publications, website content, press releases, annual reports, and other marketing materials.
• Write and distribute content to promote an organization’s brand, activities, or products.
• Act as a liaison between the organisation, the public, and the media to ensure that the brand remains top of mind.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communications, Public Relations, Events Planning and Management or any relevant qualification Social Sciences.
• Work experience in the related field will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrate sufficient Knowledge in using social medial platforms.
• Strong background and knowledge and experience in the field of HIV&AIDS
