  • NQF Level 7 (Degree in in Supply Chain/ Logistics/ Engineering)
  • 5 years Depot Operations experience including Transport and Inventory or Asset Management
  • Advantageous

     

    • Petrochemical industry experience
    What you’ll be doingCOST CONTROL & BUDGET MANAGEMENT
    •    Determine project forecast for year ahead and manage budget. 
    •    Track monthly OPEX spend and manage cost control processes.
    •    Report on budget variances and authorize expenditure within LOA.
    •    Ensure submission of expense report with variance analysis submitted with meaningful explanations.
    •    Ensure that expenditure is in line with agreed budget.
    •    Ensure timeous and effective report analysis.
    •    Coordinate administration and related activities in accordance with policies and procedures

    INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
    •    Ensure receipt, storage, handling, and distribution process complies with OHSE Act, Standing instructions. 
    •    Audit reports must indicate compliance from policy.
    •    Ensure exchange balances with OOC for receipts and accommodation arrangements are managed

    BUSINESS CONTROLS
    •    Ensure that inventory balances are reconciled inventory balances and that there are valid, accurate and complete inventory balances.
    •    Ensure completeness of income and adherence to business controls and procedures
    •    Systems and equipment utilized according to design specifications.
    •    Record of ongoing analysis of outputs. Identification and implementation of agreed opportunities
    •    Accurate and reconciled Fixed Asset Register
    •    Audit indicates full compliance with company policies and procedures.
    •    Legislative compliance
    •    Adhere to company standards and procedures & local by-laws)

    CUSTOMER/ STAKEHOLDER & COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT
    •    Engage internal customers and stakeholders on service/delivery needs and that deliverables are as per SLA’s. 
    •    Manage relations with external stakeholders and engage and consult with all stakeholders to determine timelines.
    •    Communicate HSEQ procedures and ensure compliance to HSEQ policies and procedures

    TRANSPORT MANAGEMENT
    •    Ensure cost efficient and safe operating environment through managing performance.
    •    Ensure compliance with third party within Engen operating standards and procedures.
    •    Ensure that approved maintenance plans are in place and executed according to industry standards.
    •    Engineering audits indicate full compliance with agreed standards.
    •    Quarterly JFC meetings conducted timeously, accurate capture of minutes and distribution thereof and ensuring that action items are attended to by agreed deadlines

    MANAGEMENT OF 3RD PARTY CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENTS & TRANSPORT CARRIERS
    •    Terminal operations comply with third party agreements where applicable. 
    •    Ensure efficient, safe working and operating environment and effective third-party on-site management
