• Teacher of French and Spanish

Machabeng College is seeking dedicated and dynamic individuals to join our team as Teachers of French and Spanish. As a prospective candidate, you will play a vital role in nurturing our students’ linguistic abilities and fostering a multicultural learning environment.

We are looking for candidates who meet the following expectations:

Expectations:

• Demonstrate an understanding of international mindedness and respect for cultural diversity.
• Proficiency in French and Spanish, with a deep understanding of language acquisition principles.
• Adherence to the child protection international code and recognition of learners as central to the learning institution.
• Familiarity with current standards and indicators for schools accredited by CIS, NEASC, and AISA offering both IGCSE and IB Diploma qualifications.
• Proficiency in the application of ICT as a teaching and learning tool.
• Competence in Learner-Centered teaching methods and the delivery of 21st Century teaching skills.
• Capacity to offer an extra-curricular activity that enriches the students’ learning experience.
• Flexibility and willingness to collaborate as part of a dynamic team.
• Readiness to undertake extra responsibilities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Requirement: First Degree in the relevant subject (s) with preference to French.

At least three years of progressively responsible experience, preferably in an international high school environment.
